SSCVA Membership Details
Membership is open to voluntary organisations and community groups in South Staffordshire and the surrounding area.
Membership is subject to confirmation by the SSCVA Board of Directors
Our membership runs from 1st of January to 31st of December

Members receive our quarterly newsletter Buzz.
This is full
of information of interest to voluntary and community groups including sections
on: sources of funding, disability, rural issues, youth, the environment,
Charity Commission updates, training, health & safety plus details of
forthcoming events.
Membership of a network of local voluntary organisations and
community groups.
Access to a wide range of information, advice and support eg:
setting up a group, forming a committee, roles and responsibilities of committee
members, writing a constitution, writing policies, funding advice (including
Funder Finder service), assistance with completing funding applications and
charity registration.
Advice
on the recruitment of
volunteers
Assistance
with publicity and promotion
Access to a wide range of practical services
including low cost photocopying, poster and leaflet design, loan of various
items of equipment and reference library.
Have
a right to vote at our AGM and nominate members to the Board of
Directors.
